Celebrity U-turns now, and in the greatest coup since Victoria Adams bagged David Beckham, millions of Directioners could be getting Zayn Malik back in 1D - two months after he sensationally quit.
At least, that’s according to the hashtag #WelcomeBackTo1DZayn, which has been trending since last night.
Unfortunately, it’s all a giant hoax – one super-fan decided to start the hashtag after watching a Brazilian TV documentary that apparently showed Zayn saying he was coming back to the band this year.
Obviously, as this is Twitter, the entire world took that one fan’s assertion as solid, concrete fact – and so a billion trillion teenagers started going nuts.
And then they got angry.
Then they got… kinda murder-y.
