According to a statement issued today, Zayn Malik is coming home from the One Direction tour; flying from Hong Kong back to the UK to recuperate.
“Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate,” the statement read. “The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”

In recent days Zayn has been at the centre of a controversy after a picture of him, where he appeared to be holding hands with a blonde fan, appeared online.
He denied any funny business, tweeting to his followers: “ I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f***s in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x”.
It’s clearly a tough time for Zayn at the moment and really, home is probably the best place for him.
