Niall stepped up to the mic to announce that Zayn was too ill to continue, with the rest of the band covering his solo parts for the last three songs.
Concerned fans flooded Twitter with messages of support for poorly Zayn - they even got #getwellsoonzayn trending in about half an hour - but their spokesperson confirmed later it was nothing to worry about.
“Zayn was taken ill during the show but it's nothing serious,” they told* the Sun*.

“He wasn't feeling that great beforehand but he tried to get through the performance as well as he could. Everyone is hoping he’ll be well enough for their next gig.”
The Live While We’re Young singers have been touring Australia for the past fortnight and are set to fly to Japan to continue the tour next week.
