Former One Directions star Zayn Malik has warned that an event claiming to offer fans a ‘meet & greet’ with him is fake.
He took to Twitter after seeing the event, titled simply: ‘Meet and Greet: Zayn Malik.’
He wrote angrily: “That's fake and I have nothing to do with it so don't waste your money guys ... Love you all and to the people doing this ... Get a life.”
Zayn only recently returned to Twitter after dramatically exiting boy band One Direction.
The 22-year-old was initially signed off with ‘stress’ following reports claiming he had cheated on Little Mix fiancé Perrie Edwards.
He made his first appearance at the Asian Awards where he debuted a new shorn head. A day later he tweeted fans: “Wanna say thanks to everyone that's been there for me over the last few weeks, love you all.. you know who you are x(sic).”
Zayn was allegedly in the studio working with producer Naughty Boy on solo material just days after he quit One Direction, prompting speculation that he might be releasing a solo record sooner rather than later.
