Zayn looked casual as he showed off his new beard and floppy hair while meeting pals in New York.
His fresh ink was revealed the same day Gigi was spotted out with an elegant band on her wedding finger. However, this comes after last month’s reports claim Gigi had previously turned down a proposal from Zayn after just a year of dating, so we’re not rushing to buy a new dress just yet.
A source close to the couple said to Life & Style at the time: "She’s only 21 and doesn’t feel ready to tie the knot, so she turned him down.
"She’s seen her mom [Yolanda Foster] go through two messy divorces, so Gigi wants to make 100 per cent sure Zayn’s the one before she makes a lifetime commitment."
But could it be for reals this time? With an increase in totally cute, and not at all slightly nauseating, Instagram selfies together the couple are looking stronger than ever.
So, it’s possible they’ve taken their relationship to the next level, right?

Zayn was previously engaged to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards before ending their four-year relationship in 2015.
