Zooey Deschanel is pregnant with her and boyfriend Jacob Pechenik’s first child, it’s been confirmed.
The 34-year-old New Girl star had her rep tell People magazine the good news, adding that their baby is due this summer.
The happy news makes her around three months pregnant.
“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one,” she added.
Zooey and Jacob have been dating since last summer, making their relationship public last August at the Emmy Awards.
The Hollywood actress met producer Jacob, 42, on the set of new film Rock The Kasbah, which is set for release later this year.
She revealed that they were dating just weeks after splitting from her screenwriter ex, Jamie Linden.
It’s good timing for Zooey’s pregnancy, as her sister Emily Deschanel also recently confirmed she was expecting her second child.
Yay! Congratulations to the rapidly growing Deschanel family.
