Okay, Big Brother fans, tea and real talk time; here at heatworld we absolutely adored the cast of Big Brother 2024. For the first time in a long time, we were presented with a Big Brother cast that didn't really have one bad apple.

Yes, okay, a few of them made a few choices we didn't agree with, but overall, this was a house of legends and reality telly gold. So to pick our final faves was a tricky task but in the end we decided that – in our minds – our winners were Ali Bromley, Emma Morgan and Hanah Haji.

If you watched this series, you know we need to give you our reasons for any of those. You'll also agree that they should reboot Charlie's Angels yet again an cast these three.

HOWEVER, things got a little sticky for us in the final few days of Big Brother when Ali and Emma started gently locking horns following Emma clocking her and Lily Benson gossiping about her round the sofas. Emma confronted Ali about this a few days later and Ali denied Emma's claims. Then, of course, there was final six's dinner party row where things started to get a bit frosty between Ali and Emma once again.

That all seemed to dissipate come the final and now, IRL, Ali has won the show and the housemates all of their social media accounts back – and if you're savvy and borderline obsessive (like us), you'll have noticed that Emma has been seemingly throwing some light shade at Ali here and there on Instagram.

For example, Emma posted a comment on fellow housemate Ryan Bradshaw's Instagram over the weekend, who was of course the first evicted housemate of the season, that appeared to big up Ryan, but somewhat tear down Ali.

Emma wrote, 'You were literally SOOOOO missed after you left. Bad decision by the public, if you’d have stayed in I reckon Ali would be £90k down today!! You were so funny n so likeable. It was like having Karl Pilkington in the house!!!'

To summarise, we sniff a brewing feud and we don't like it or back it in any way as we are the loyal subjects of both these telly queens.

Naturally, we had to get to the bottom of this when we sat down with Ali a few days after her Big Brother win and while she remained fairly tight-lipped as she had yet to see any of Emma's online comments, she did unveil another layer to this unique friendship; by confirming that Emma and her had some 'sweet moments' in the house and had bonded over something quite deep that perhaps never made it to our screens.

Speaking of her relationship with Emma, Ali said, 'I enjoyed my time with Emma in the house, absolutely. I thought she was absolutely hilarious. She had me laughing to the point of tears at times. She's very quick-witted, she's very, very funny, and we had some really sweet moments, I don't know if they have been aired. We definitely had a deep connection about our shared experiences of grief and stuff like that. So, I really liked Emma, I don't know how she's feeling now, but those are my thoughts at the time.'

Speaking of some of the potential shade Emma has thrown on Instagram, Ali added, 'I haven't seen any comments made by Emma, and actually, I only learned of those comments this morning through doing interviews with other magazines, so I haven't seen them and I don't know. Obviously, I was asked if I'd been talking about Emma on one of the previous days by Emma and it looks really bad because I obviously say, "no", and my defence of it doesn't make me sound any better, but actually Lily and I were talking about quite a few people.

'[Emma] asked me that question and I was like, "I don't know," and I had to decide in a split second, do I just say yes, so at least if it comes out I look really honest, or do I just say no because I can't remember what we talked about? So, I went with no because if I say yes, she's going to ask me what [about] I'm going to look like I'm lying anyway.'

Ali then added, 'I don't know how Emma feels [now], I haven't had a chance to talk to her yet, but I also haven't seen her comments about myself or any other housemates.'
