Love Island is up their with outrageous memes and random AF celebrity friendships (Meryl Streep and 50 Cent, anyone?) as one of the reasons we're able to get out of bed in the morning, and we will not stand to hear a bad word against it. But, even we have to admit this year's series seems to have an air of 'set-up for viewers entertainment' about it.
There've been accusations of scenes being shot twice, exes being thrown in to split up happy couples and show bosses editing out certain contestants scenes to sway the public vote.
And to add to this, a load of this year's contestants all seem to already know each other from the wanna-be celeb/insta-famous/micro-influencer circuit.

It was recently reported that Stephanie Lam, one of the new bombshells set to rock the villa this week, was in a 'secret relationship' with Love Island 2017 star Chris Hughes before heading on to the show.
And now it's also been revealed Stephanie has a strange connection to Great British Bake Off 2016 winner Candice Brown.
It turns out Candice - who was previously a PE teacher - used to teach Stephanie at secondary school.
After the news broke that Stephanie would be appearing on Love Island, Candice took to Twitter to reveal their unusual connection.
She wrote: "Yassss girl!!! Hot as hell, smart cookie and gonna shake things up!! Think it’s coz she had a great teacher! (Yes I taught her, yes I feel old, but yes she’s smart coz of me 🤣) enjoy beautiful lady! #LoveIsIand @LoveIsland"
Stephanie is also said to have dated Chris Hughes after meeting him in January of this year.
“Chris and Stephanie have been dating on and off for six months,” a source told The Sun.
“But this was an opportunity too good for her to miss out on so she's gone for it."
