Caroline Flack has made a disappointing revelation about the future of Celebrity Love Island.
The television presenter, who hosts Love Island, has said that the star-studded version of the show will not be making a comeback as the civilian version is proving so popular.
The broadcaster claims the success of the current series is down to the contestants being unknown before they enter the villa, meaning people have not already judged them.
Caroline, who also presents the spin-off show Aftersun, said: “I think this is one of the rare reality shows where it actually works better with people we don’t know.
“You get to know them and become invested in the show. (I get upset by the break ups), definitely. It’s like one big family so I feel I’m a part of it.
“It’s like seeing your friends break up - never nice.”
The celebrity version of Love Island did well in the past with the likes of Calum Best and Abi Titmuss previously taking part.
