If you watched Love Island last summer (which, of course, you did) you’ll know the standout romance in the villa was between BFFs Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay.
Following Love Island, the boys kept the bromance alive and went on to star in their own spin-off reality show as well as launching a rap career.
However, it looks as though things could be on the rocks for Chris and Kem, and it’s all because of the other man in Kem’s life; Jake Quickenden.
Kem and Jake have struck up a lovely new friendship while both appearing on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, and poor Chris is feeling like he’s been kicked to the curb.
Chris previously joked that he’d been so overcome with jealousy, he had ‘bocked’ Jake on social media.
Now, it seems his worst fears have come true.
Taking to Twitter, Chris revealed that Kem had mistakenly called him Jake – which we all know is never a good sign.
He wrote: “I’m in actual shock…Kem, as in, @KemCetinay has just called me Jake, as in @JakeQuickended and held is hand over his mouth in shore for about 2 minutes, whilst trying to apologise. Never have I have felt this low. This week is done.”
Ouch.
Fans have been quick to tell Chris to get out of the relationship and realise his true worth.
One wrote: “Oh Kem how could you! Chris that’s definitely grounds for divorce.”
Another said: “Dump him hun x”
Kem has since replied, trying to reassure Chris it “meant nothing.”
We’ve got a feeling this is just the start of a very awkward love triangle.
