The Love Island lot don’t seem to have much luck when it comes to lurrrve outside the walls of that luxury Mallorcan villa, do they? Practically all the couples from last year’s show have now split (can someone please check on Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt?)
However, one relationship – and, arguably, the best thing to have come from the show – is still very much alive, as Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay’s bromance seems stronger than ever.
When the boys aren’t perfecting their pouts and dishing out ‘selfie lessons’, they’re busy taking over our telly boxes, one reality TV show at a time.
But speaking to heatworld at the exclusive Three launch of the new Honor10 phone, the boys teased their BIG flans for the future.
“We’ve got some exciting things coming up,” Kem revealed.
He then teased: “We can’t really say yet, but it’s probably our most exciting project yet. This for us is where we’ve wanted to go to for so long, so we’re really exciting. We’re going to be busy this summer.”
Hmmm, we are VERY intrigued.
Chirs then added, “Summer’s going to be a little bit busy.”
This comes as The Sun reports the Love Island boys have lined up their second TV show together, set to air this summer on ITV2.
Following on from the success of their first show Straight Outta Love Island – and a number of presenting jobs including on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards earlier this year – Chris and Kem have apparently singed for a new ‘challenge-based’ series.
GALLERY: How many Love Island couples are still together?
Love Island couples still together (slider)
Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark (2015): SPLIT
Remember when they, like, got engaged on the show? That one didn't quite last...
Katie Salmon and Adam Maxwell (2016): SPLIT
Adam claimed he was '100 percent single' shortly after leaving the villa and, um, that was that. #Kadam; gone but never forgotten.
Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville (2017): STILL TOGETHER
After making the final last year, Gabby and Marcel are still very much a thing and we're here for it.
Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott (2016): SPLIT
Scott and Kady managed a year before splitting in 2017.
Nathan Massey and Cara de da Hoyde (2016): STILL TOGETHER
They've got their little Love Island baby and everything.
Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow (2017): STILL TOGETHER
An absolute success story of Love Island 2017, Jamie and Camilla and Jamie are still the CUTEST of couples.
Sam Gowland and Georgia Harrison (2017): SPLIT
Sam seems to be doing alright for himself on Geordie Shore, so we don't think he's too gutted.
Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes (2017): SPLIT
The couple were plagued with cheating rumours throughout their relationship (who can forget that whole Chris Hughes and Katie Price debacle?). Since their ITVBe show Crackin' On ended, Olivia's confirmed she's back with ex-boyfriend Bradley Dack.
Emma-Jane Woodhams and Terry Walsh (2016): SPLIT
The pair dated for eight months in actual real life before calling it a day. AH WELL.
Rykard Jenkins and Rachel Fenton (2016): SPLIT
At least they lasted 18 months. Not bad going...
Jessica Hayes and Max Morley (2015): SPLIT
Still fancy Max in a huge way, not gonna lie.
Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland (2016): STILL TOGETHER
Alex and Olivia are engaged and literally as strong as ever. We like to live vicariously through them, to be honest.
Jordan Ring and Zoe Brown (2015): SPLIT
Absolutely DID NOT work IRL. Neeext.
Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech (2015): SPLIT
They had the first ever Love Island baby and are happy as Larry. Ah, always good to end on some good news.
Tyla Carr and Jonny Mitchell (2017): SPLIT
Oh it was never gonna last, was it?
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies (2017): SPLIT
The Love Island 2017 winners split in December 2017; five months after the finale.
Montana Brown and Alex Beattie (2017): SPLIT
These two split just weeks after returning to the UK. Sad times.
Dom Lever and Jess Shears (2017): STILL TOGETHER
Jess and Dom are so together, in fact, they got 'married' on Good Morning Britain on Valentine's Day 2017. The, um, actual wedding's scheduled for later this year.
“Kem and Chris are so excited – they can’t wait to be back on screens,” a source told the publication.
“They love being able to perform together and this show will give them the chance to have some fun exactly a year on from becoming close friends.
“The programme will air when Love Island is on so fans will have the chance to see last year’s favourite islanders as well as watching the new series.”
Brb, we’re just off to cancel all our summer plans.
