Danny Dyer has never been one to bite his tongue and during his latest interview he branded Love Island a "pile of shit"... You know, the show that launched his daughter Dani Dyer into the limelight.

Back in 2018 (literally seems like a lifetime ago) Dani entered the villa, fell for Jack Fincham and the pair went on to win the show despite not doing "bits" on the TV show.

However, during an interview with Romesh Ranganathan on BBC 2 show The Ranganation, Danny has made his opinion on the show very clear.

After the EastEnders star was asked whether he'd prefer for his daughter to go on Too Hot To Handle - because they're not allowed to touch each other - he admitted he prefers the Netflix series over Love Island.

"Yeah, also, the show's a pile of shit, Love Island. So that was the other thing I was worried about," he admitted.

Err, obsessed with the honesty tbh.

Just when you thought he'd spilled enough tea he went on to throw shade at Too Hot To Handle too.

"I don’t know. I can see what they’re trying to do.

"Sort of trying to do all this spiritual connection stuff, but I would have thought you need quite intelligent people on the show to have some sort of spiritual connection," he said.

Shady.

In more Love Island related news, it's been reported that the reality show could return this year but in autumn.

It appears ITV bosses aren't giving up on getting another series out this year as a source said, "The location is up in the air, as Majorca would maybe be a bit chilly by September/October, but the Canary Islands could be possible.

"Casting was well under way for the summer season and producers don't want to lose some of the gems they had hand-picked," they told The Sun.

They went on, "The winter series lacked a few standout characters, so they had been careful to find reality TV wannabes with looks as well as brains and personality."

Not going to lie, if an autumn series airs we'll definitely be watching it, pile of shit or not,
