They have been one of the most talked about telly couples in the country this summer and two of the most divisive Islanders in Love Island history, and now, Love Island 2025's Dejon Noel-Williams and Meg Moore are officially out of the villa – dumped, just hours before the final at the hands of their fellow Islanders none-the-less.

It's almost Shakespearean.

Getting together on day one, their turbulent relationship has been plagued by raised eyebrows from the start; with fans coming for them both individually, and as a couple.

We're on a word count here, so we can't go into everything (honestly, we could write a book), but here are the key issues: Meg's relationship with the other girls, Dejon's handling of third-party bombshells, Dejon majorly downplaying things to Meg, and Dejon's alleged 'game playing' and awareness of the cameras.

In the last few days of their journey, some fans have called Dejon out for turning against Meg, with many claiming that Dejon is worried about his image on the outside (hence his sudden fear of cameras).

There's a lot to unpack here – some of it serious, some it very not so serious, and some of it completely dismissed by Meg and Dejon diehards like Helena Ford – and unsurprisingly, all eyes are fixated on the couple as they acclimatise to life outside of the villa.

Will they speak out against the criticism? Will they remain united? Is Dejon really serious about Meg away from the show's bubble? The latter's a big one, especially with all the ex-Islanders that just dumped them.

Well, shortly after their dumping, Dejon was quizzed on all of the above by Love Island producers and the OG made it crystal clear what's next for him and Meg now they've left the villa – he wants to show his family and the world 'the real' Meg and Dejon, and seemingly not the edited Love Island version.

Dejon said, 'I definitely want to have a conversation with her family, get to know them and have her meet my family so they can see the real us. A lot of the Islanders saw how genuine we were and I have no doubt it will be like that with our families. After that hopefully we can move in together as I can’t imagine not living with her.'

In a separate interview, Meg was asked the same question and told producers, 'Proving to everyone we are actually going to stay together! Spending time together and introducing one another to family and friends.'

This seems as good a time as ever to remind everyone that it's absolutely fine to have opinions on Love Island and its divisive contestants and its absolutely fine for those opinions to be passionate, but remember that these Islanders are all human beings with loved ones, so keep it about the show and their actions, and steer away from the personal. Shady, not hateful. Call it out, don't troll.

WATCH: Sounds like Love Island's Billykiss is NOT a fan of arguing with Dejon
