Love Island’s Ellie Brown is ‘reinventing herself’ following split from Charlie Brake

Ellie Brown has had a tough time of it lately.

After meeting on this year's Love Island, the reality TV star was dumped by her boyfriend Charlie Brake on Instagram, before he shamelessly revealed he had a new squeeze by posting a snap of the pair kissing on the social media site days later.

But despite everything, the star is looking onwards and upwards and is relying on her Love Island pals Kaz Crossley, Laura Anderson and Zara McDermott for support.

Speaking to The Sun, Ellie said, "Personally I am spending a lot of time with the girls at the minute.

"A lot of people ask if Love Island friendships are real friendships because you haven't known them that long but they're the only people who truly understand.

"Spending time with them brings me a lot of comfort because they truly understand everything that you feel.

"I am spending a lot of time with the girls as well as Josh [Denzel]."

Ellie also revealed her new look, telling the paper, "You know when you go through a break-up and you want to reinvent yourself?

"I never used to wear red lipstick, and now I feel like it's going to be my new thing."

Ellie's BFF Laura was present when she discovered she'd been dumped by her millionaire boyfriend and revealed it was a complete shock.

But while her former co-stars Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer may be loved up, Ellie isn't the only single Love Islander.

Laura Anderson also broke up with Paul Knoppssoon after the show drew to a close, while Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster also went their separate ways after he was caught cheating on her.
