A new go-to move for Love Island producers is recruiting exes as bombshells, to inject chaos and shake even the villa’s strongest couples just when they don't need it. Standout moments from past seasons include Ellie Jones’ arrival as Jack Fincham’s ex in 2018, Gemma Owen’s ex Jacques O'Neill dropping in during 2022, and most recently, Emma Munro gatecrashing Love Island 2025 as Harry Cooksley’s ex.
Who could forget Emma dramatically waving at Harry from the terrace and Harry's soul visibily leaving his body as a result of the epic plot twist?

As an A-class Casa Amor bombshell, Emma didn’t ever hold back: she stirred the pot by opening up to the other Islanders about her rocky three-year relationship with Harry – who finished Love Island 2025 in second place with Shakira Khan – unearthing secrets and ramping up the drama in classic Love Island style.
Though Emma’s stint in the villa lasted just 16 days, her impact carried far beyond that: she’s since been making waves off-screen, spilling the tea on podcasts, doing various interviews, and keeping fans hooked with candid revelations on social media. The bombshell effect, it seems, doesn’t end at the fire pit.
Take her most recent TikTok, for example; responding to a follower's comment, Emma went in to detail about why she has Harry blocked on social media.

ICYMI, Harry recently revealed that Emma had blocked him on the Not My Bagg podcast – and he wasn't sure why.
Emma's recent response to this is unapologetically Emma, telling fans that he knows exactly why he's blocked and that she doesn't know why they need to see each other's content given that they're still exes. She also savagely adds that the fact that Harry has clearly checked to see if he is still blocked is 'weird'.
Emma said, 'I think I was very misunderstood on Love Island, but you guys actually get me, so I trust your opinion.

Emma explained, 'Long story short, I've been receiving a lot of messages like this asking me to unblock Harry or asking me why he's blocked. Harry's gone on a podcast and says he doesn't know why he's blocked on all social media platforms.
'Harry, you know exactly why. He's been blocked for over a year. I blocked him after he betrayed me and got kicked out of the house. He knows. He has my number, he can obviously contact me if he needs me.

'I'm in two minds about whether to unblock him or not; I saw him the other day, and he did ask me to unblock him, but I think it's more the principle. Your actions have consequences, the consequence being your access has been denied. I don't think we need to see each other's content and I think a lot of you out there can probably relate to this because you've got your ex blocked, too.'
She then savagely added, 'But, why have you been checking that you're still blocked? Weird.'

Tbf, that is a fair question.
But also tbf, plenty of celebs have us blocked and we're constantly checking to see if they've unblocked us.
They haven't. Boo.
