From his complicated connection with Toni Laites to his secret kisses with Helena Ford, the Miami-based footballer finally settled for Lauren Wood; he even quit the show after she was dumped from the villa.
The duo are now back in the real world and recently stopped by heat Towers for a much needed gossip. Between chatting about Toni and Cach Mercer and dishing the deets on their future plans, we asked Lauren and Harrison if they ever thought about exploring other connections inside the villa.
'I think walking into the villa, obviously, I did have my eye Shakira [Khan], as well,' Harrison confessed.
And the WHOLE of the internet knew it.
'Initially, I think she's a good looking girl, and when we got into the villa, I think we really, really got on, which, obviously, a lot of people have seen.'
'But, I think from the start it was very friendly,' he went on, 'obviously, I had my thing with Toni. Toni’s her best friend, so I don't think anything really happened because of that, probably initially.'
Is it just us or does that read as though he would have pulled Shakira for a few chats had he not been caught up in a romance with her bestie?
Also, didn't Harrison's mum say on Aftersun that she thought he fancied Shakira? When Maya Jama asked her who he actually wants his mum replied, 'probably Shakira.'
Admittedly, this was way back at the start before Lauren was even in the picture, but fans online are still harping on about the two of them; TikTok edits of Shakira and Harrison haunt us like some sort of fictional romance book duo.
'But yeah, she's a great girl, and I can see why people think that,' he went on, 'but obviously, we're just really close friends.'
She IS a great girl, we just wish those ITV producers would see that instead of trying to make her Love Island experience such a god damn nightmare.
