You know we're near the end of Love Island when it's family day and series 12's is definitely going down in the history books.
From Toni Laites' mum being a TikTok legend and pulling Cach Mirjah Mercer for a chat to Shakira Khan's mum being simply iconic when she was grilling Harry Cooksley - we were obsessed with the entire episode.
One thing we were confused about though was Harry's best pal telling Helena Ford - who H had just split from - that she'd get on well in their friendship group.
'We've got a group of 16 of us and we were like, "Helena would fit in so well". You just take the p**s, which is good,' he told her.
It was giving odd tbh.
However Harry's pal has now spoken out about what REALLY went down in the villa and as it turns out, the producers cut their full conversation from the edit.
Replying to the Love Island clip where he speaks to Helena, Harry's friend (who is also called Harry, lol), said, '[In] this clip I said to Helena that it would never have worked romantically with her and Harry, they were just great mates on a holiday romance but their banter is the same and that's why she'd fit into our wider friendship group (of 8 couples).
'It wasn't me telling her that she's a better fit than Shakira. I said the opposite to her face.'
Oooh tea.
He then went on to say, 'It was clear spending an hour with them, that Shakira and Harry are really into each other and I can’t wait to see how he tries to make amends.'
Err, why didn't the producers show that?
Harry - not the one in the villa, his pal - also revealed that he and Julia (Harry's mum) called the Islander out 'for his behaviour' and 'him being inconsiderate of others feelings'.
And after one viewer claimed that Harry's pal and mum wanted H to reunite with Helena, Harry (again, the friend not the Islander) said, 'This couldn’t be further from the truth and I said it to Helena’s face in this chat, she took it great and totally understood but I massively sympathised with her situation.
'The only undeniable thing about it is she’s been treated badly and I told her that. As I did to Harry. His flip-flopping has caused all this.'
He added, 'Harry is very into Shakira and both Julia and I loved meeting her and came away incredibly happy seeing both of them much happier than they’ve been over the last week or so.'
Well, that's that then. Looks like Harry's friends and family are well and truly team Harry and Shakira.
