Love Island has well and truly taken over our lives and we’ve pretty much lost all sense of reality and perspective. So invested are we in the love lives of the islanders, we’ve almost entirely forgotten life outside the villa is a thing and basically only step out of our Love Island viewing den discuss the events of the previous night with our equalling Love Island-obsessed pals and to go work (which consists of writing about Love Island for 8 hours, tbh).
It’s hard to believe that just over two weeks ago the islanders were mere mortals. Total strangers who, just like us, had to navigate their way around the terrifying 2018 dating scene rather than being surrounded by other equally model-esque beings in a luxury villa (not like us at all).
However, it’s recently come to light that Josh Denzel – who’s currently coupled up with Georgia Steel – may not have found dating to be all the difficult pre-Love Island, as he seemingly had two girls on the go just weeks before heading into the villa.
Despite claiming he’s been single for nearly 7 months, Josh’s ex Nena and former fling Kayleigh Morris have both revealed they were seeing the islander just four weeks before he appeared on the show.
“We were together for seven years, we own a house together, we have pets,” Nena – who allegedly last saw Josh at the end of May – told Star magazine.
“He told me he was going to Russia for football. I messaged him saying, ‘If Russia is code for Love Island I’m going to kill you!’ I need to get him to sign documents regarding the house.”
She also warned: “Don’t trust him.”

Ex On The Beach star Kayleigh also claimed she’d been in contact with Josh after returning from America in May.
"We were trying to figure out dates, but he went AWOL two weeks ago. I texted him saying, 'You're either dead or you're going on Love Island, but I'm hoping you're dead,” she explained to New! magazine.
Kayleigh also revealed she’d heard that Josh had ‘cheated on Nena’ multiple times while they were together.
