We have many thoughts when it comes to the drama surrounding the Love Island kissing game that ruled the most recent episode.
The main belief that has made a home in our reality TV-obsessed minds is that the Love Island 2025 lads are just playing the dating show game and it’s about time we all accepted that.

ICYMI, a trio of naughty Islanders - Harry Cooksley, Dejon Noel-Williams and Shea Mannings - realised that they each had a girl they wanted to kiss in the game and decided to work together in order to make that happen during one of the challenges. We have to add that none of these girlies are who they are currently coupled up with, hence the secret pact and constant whispering.
However, once the game was over Harry ended up telling Tommy Bradley EVERYTHING and he in turn told his current partner, Megan Forte Clarke - who Shea had decided to kiss - and Megan obviously told the girls.
It didn't take long for the gossip to make it's way around the villa, with the girls (and Tommy) not responding to the revelation in the most positive manner.

But here's the thing, we are only two weeks into this year's series of the dating show and we probably have just one couple, Tommy and Megan, that are strong(ish) - everyone else is very open. Not only that but they were planning a game.
'All of you think this is a game,' Meg Moore told Dejon, 'But it's really not a f**king game.'
Erm, we hate to break it to you Meg, but that's exactly what it is. This all kicked off because of a villa challenge.
'I don't think it was that serious, really,' Harry told them all, 'It's only a challenge.'
Famous last words.

Once upon a time Love Island was all about finding The One, but in recent seasons it has been more of a 'who's who' in the world of influencers and semi-pro footballers.
That being said, even if the current contestants have gone on the show to find true love, it's only been nine days or something, we haven't even hit double figures in terms of how long they have known each other.
Plus, it was one of the most entertaining episodes of Love Island we have witnessed in a long time. Watching Harry explain to viewers that the three of them had concocted a very-much-not foolproof plan as he giggled like a naughty school boy was top tier telly.
We do have to say that it was nice to at least see the girls all had each other backs (to an extent) because if there's one thing we need to see more of, it's the girls turning on the boys instead of each other. Someone put the Barbie movie on for them, will you?
