We’re not going to lie, we’ve fallen a little bit in love with Love Island’s resident PE teacher Hugo Hammond. Despite not actually being interested in any of the girls yet – he’s famously friendzoned Sharon Gaffka and AJ Bunker – we reckon life in the villa would be a lot different without him.
And just when we thought we couldn’t crush on him more, some detective Love Island fans have unearthed Hugo’s secret talent for singing.

Instagram account Love Island Reactions uploaded the clip with the caption, ‘Why can't all men be like Hugo 🥺’
Fans quickly flocked to the comments, with some pretty impressed by his pipes, “Bless him he’s so cute”, wrote one fan.
Another added, “Protect this man at all costs.”
We can’t wait for this year’s Love Island 2021 talent show.

Hugo’s place in the villa is currently safe after he survived a vote where viewers were asked to pick their most and least favourite Islanders. However, some viewers took to Twitter to air their frustrations at him at not being interested in anyone.
A frustrated fan tweeted, “Hugo’s just here for a free holiday and maybe some Boohoo Man offers after isn’t he #LoveIsland,” while another said, “I'm tired, Hugo go home this isn't friends island #LoveIsland."
Hugo decided to call things off with AJ in Tuesday night’s episode, telling her, "At the beginning, there was something I couldn't quite put my finger on, and I thought the more we got to know each other, the more time we spent together, I might be able to kind of figure out what it was.
"But, at the minute I just see that you and I are better off as friends on that front."

Hugo later defended himself over the lack of spark, telling Lucinda,"It’s been like five or six days now we’ve been coupled up and I thought speaking more and more would help me get past why I’m not a hundred per cent in and it hasn’t."
