Love Island’s Montana Brown has shed more light on what’s going on between her and her reality co-star man Alex Beattie - and she appears to have suggested they’ve split.

Last week it was rumoured the couple had gone their separate ways when it emerged Montana was keen to concentrate on her career and plans to become a television presenter, and push her romance with Alex aside.

And now Montana has said she won’t be working with Alex going forward and may not even be around him much.

She told The Sun Online: “We are doing our own thing at the moment. I don’t know if we will have time or be able to do any joint shoots in the future.

“I’m really proud of him with his new modelling contract. Modelling is something important to him and he’s always had a passion for it, it just comes really naturally to him.”

Alex recently took part in a photoshoot for fashion brand Boohoo alongside fellow Love Island cast member Marcel Somerville and is raking in the cash making nightclub appearances.

A source told The Sun: “Alex is thrilled to sign with Boohoo men - he’s always wanted to model and this opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time.”
