Last year's series of Love Island seems but a distant memory what with all the major dramz kicking off in the villa this year.

But cast your minds back to the Summer '16 and you'll remember it wasn't exactly a summer of lurrrrve for one Islander.

Despite putting on a hard graft with Scott Thomas, rebuffing Adam Maxted and having a few little snogs in the sunshine, Tina Stinnes failed to couple up with any of her fellow Islanders.

And now she's opened up about the whole experience made her feel a bit lonely and sad.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "I can see how people feel, especially when there is no one in there for them.

“It can be really a s***, horrible feeling and you can feel really lonely."

Ohh, HUNNNNN. We feel so sorry for you spending six weeks in the sunshine with a load of really hot guys and gals…. (we're not bitter at all).

Tina also revealed she's backing Montana Brown all the way. Particularly as she spent four weeks without so much as a hint of romance until Alex Beattie came along.

"I think Montana is so lovely and so sweet.

"She just has a very endearing personality and obviously she’s come through a journey," she told the paper.
