Marcel Somerville BACKS Love Island producers over Dani Dyer drama

Love Island producers recently came under fire for causing contestant Dani Dyer to cry and stress over her boyfriend Jack Fincham.

While the couple were separated in two separate villas, Love Island producers sent Dani a video of Jack responding to seeing his ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones enter the villa in a surprise twist.

The video - which showed Jack saying "oh my god" repeatedly - caused Dani to burst into tears and worry constantly about whether or not her boyfriend was going to recouple with his ex.

And the public weren't too pleased about that video either, considering that the producers decided to cut out all of the lovely things Jack had being saying about Dani, and instead show her that moment.

In fact, after Sunday's episode, Ofcom received 650 complaints about the producers' decision to show Dani that specific clip. Now, ex-Love Island 2017 contestant Marcel Somerville has joined in on the conversation:

Marcel tweeted: "I know every one is getting vex about the producers fucking with jack and Dani but [it's] #LoveIsland they test your relationships to the max to see if there solid. We all know jack and Dani are solid so this is not gonna make a difference #jakanddani to win!!!"

Hmm, Jack and Dani definitely had their relationship tested, and thankfully they pulled through the other side.

Now at least we know that Marcel thinks Jack and Dani are "solid" and he wants them to win Love Island. Who doesn't, tbh?
