They might not have made it to the final of Love Island, but Love Island 2025 OG couple Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams left the villa as one of the most talked about couples of the series and still remain the couple fans have the closest of eyes on...
Despite remaining together for their entire villa stint (56 days in total), Meg and Dejon's journey was a turbulent one, plagued with bombshells, head-turning, rows, tears and even claims of 'manipulation,' 'lying,' and 'bad behaviour' (directed at Dejon, mainly) by many viewers.

And naturally, their families saw everything we saw, so when Meg's mum and sister paid her a visit towards the end of her Love Island journey, there were questions and concerns shared – and it was awks to say the least.
But how do Meg's family feel about her and Dejon now? After all, the final has been and gone, the fan hype and passion has calmed down a tad, and everyone has got to know each other away from the intense Love Island edit and the even more INTENSE public eye.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Meg revealed that although it was 'not nice for [her family] to watch' the troughs of her relationship with Dejon play out on TV before the nation, they've since 'changed their mind' on her Love island boyfriend, saying that 'everyone loves [Dejon] at home.'
Meg said, 'I think everyone loves him at home. From when my mum and sister came in the villa, obviously, watching what they'd seen on TV...now we've been home and they've seen us together, their whole opinions have completely changed, just from meeting him once.'

She continued, 'They're like, "Oh my God, you two are really good together. He really respects you," and stuff like this, so obviously, it was not nice for them to watch on TV at all. I mean, every time I cried I think they cried. It's hard for them to know that, but I'm glad that they've changed their mind, already, on him, and it's such a positive thing, because all they want me to be is happy. So, yeah, I'm really excited for it.'
Meg and Dejon entered then villa as OGs on day one and coupled up immediately. They remained together until they were dumped from the villa at the hands of many of the season's former Islanders. They left the villa together on day 56 and are still together.
A gentle reminder, that while it's absolutely fine to have opinions on this year's Islanders (and have your favourites), they are all human beings navigating a very new and complex situation and industry. Be kind and remember a human being reads everything you write.
