It's safe to say that Love Island's Remell Mullins made some, erm, choices in the villa.
We started off with the highest hopes for him. We really did. From the second he bombshelled his way into the Love Island 2025 villa with those Herculean muscles and those 400k TikTok followers, we knew we knew a serious contender had entered the game.

Within minutes of entering the villa, Islanders and viewers alike could see the sparks flying between him and queen of queens Alima Gagigo; we genuinely thought that Remell was the Disney Prince Alima had been manifesting – and then producers sent Remell to The Sleepover villa.
Cue Poppy Harrison, some very bad choices, and Alima being a baddie standing on baddie business, and Remell was sent packing from the Love Island villa after being voted the least favourite boy by the public (alongside Megan Forte Clarke, who was voted the least popular girl).

It might not have worked out between him and Alima or Poppy, but Remell did form some close friendships with many of the boys, one of which was OG Dejon Noel-Williams, who he went to The Sleepover with last week.
So, naturally, when Love Island producers pulled Remell for a chat for an exit interview shortly after his dumping, they naturally asked him about whether he thought his pal Dejon and Meg Moore (arguably the only strong couple in the villa right now) were in it for the long haul – and his answer was INTERESTING.

Okay, maybe not interesting – but it was cute.
Remell told show bosses, 'I think they’ll get to the end. Their relationship is great, the way he talks about her, thinks about her and the boundaries they’ve set shows levels. I’m very confident about them both.'
Aww.

Although...
Similar sentiments have been shared about other "strong couples" at this stage in the game moments before Casa Amor struck like lightning.
Speaking of his close bonds with the Love Island boys, Remell added, 'Shea [Mannings] was my day one and I’m happy to be a part of his Love Island experience. Conor [Phillips] and I were really close. On day one he said he didn’t think he was going to like me, so it was nice that we became boys. It’s crazy that I'm best friends with someone from Ireland! Tommy [Bradley] would say I’m like an older brother to him, so I'm going to look out for him as soon as he’s out. Dejon and I are also thinking of starting a run club.'
Who says it's not Friendship Island?
