Can we all just take a second to take a deep breath and acknowledge how insane this year series of Love Island was?
We half expected the producers to announce the Twitter challenge was back or for the bosses to tell 2025 winners, Toni Laites and Cach Mirjah Mercer, they could steal the prize money from each other; everything about the show was 2015 coded.
One of the reasons it felt like we were living a decade in the past was the high octane drama that fueled every single episode, chaotic doesn't quite cover it. Not only that, but there was MAJOR feuds this series with a clear divide between the dating show girlies.

One team consisted of the three baddies who ended up making it to the final; winner Toni, runner up Shakira Khan and third place babe, Yasmin Pettet.
The three Islanders often found themselves going head to head with Meg Moore and Helena Ford, with Megan Forte Clarke and Emily Moran taking their side.
Now that they are out of the villa and back in the real world, Shakira, Yas and Toni have being chatting about not being included in the girl group.

The three of them were being interviewed at the ITV Reality showcase last week when they were asked whether their top three placement felt like a moment to show that the 'underdogs' can win.
'Yeah 100 percent,' YasGPT confirmed, 'Outcasts on top.'
'Outcasts, outcasts, that is what we called ourselves,' Shakira chimed in. 'We would say it all the time, a win for the weirdos. I love that for us.'

Toni and Cach won the series, with Shakira and villa villain, Harry Cooksley, coming in second place, Yas completed the top three with Jamie Rhodes on her arm.
'I feel like coming out we are so overwhelmed with how much love we've all received, I don't think any of us were expecting it but it's been so nice to feel the love from everyone,' Yasmin added.
