He didn't exactly have the most successful Love Island experience but at least Shea Mannings can return to the real world and spend some time with his nearest and dearest, who we're sure he missed during his stint in the Love Island 2025 villa.
The bombshell joined the villa alongside Remell Mullins and although he attempted to strike up a romance with both Megan Forte Clarke and Yasmin Pettet, he failed to make a connection with anyone. Shea may not have formed a lovey-dovey bond with any of the Love Island girlies, but he did become pretty chummy with some of the lads including Dejon Noel-Williams, Remell and Harry Cooksley.
With this in mind we feel like he, better than anyone, was able to see just how solid some of the romantic connections were. After all, it's not like he had his own relationship to focus on.
During his Love Island exit chat, Shea was asked about Dejon and Meg Moore who have had an, ahem, tumultuous relationship since day one.
'It’s a bit different with them,' he began. 'I’m not too sure if it’s going to last.'
That doesn't sound exactly positive, does it? To be fair, Dejon did partner up with Harry and Shea during a villa challenge in order to kiss Malisha Jordan and he was clearly upset when Malisha was kicked out.
He did also flirt with Yasmin a hell of a lot and he even kissed Caprice Alexandra during the sleepover episode, so we do understand Shea's perspective.
'Just from what I was seeing it’s a bit one sided from Meg’s side,' he went on.
This revelation from Shea comes after Dejon chose to stick with Meg rather than couple up with Caprice. However, Shea spent a considerable amount of time with the PT prior to his sleepover stint, so we are mildly concerned he might be right on the money with this one.
'Only time will tell,' he finished.
