It was the Married At First Sight recoupling we hoped would happen and weeks after the final dinner party aired in the UK, Australian series 12 stars Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher went Instagram official with their relationship.
And now Awhina's ex Adrian Arouzou has spoken about their romance and it seems he's even managed to throw in a little shade in there.
Opening up about his onscreen ex-wife moving on from their relationship with his co-star, Adrian admitted, 'I have no clue what those two are doing, [but] if so, good luck to them.
'If they are happy, go for it.'

He then went on to add to Yahoo Australia, 'I hope it’s legit, otherwise [it would] be a bit embarrassing to act like a couple just for likes and attention...
'Wish them both nothing but happiness and a healthy, successful relationship.'
Nothing like throwing a little shade at your ex-wife while congratulating her at the same time. Lol.
Awhina and Adrian's marriage not working out should come as no surprise to anyone. Things went downhill before they even said 'I do'.

During their vows, after Adrian told his wife 'not to worry' about him having kids things got awkward AF because Awhina is literally a mum.
Despite telling producers he didn't want to be coupled up with someone with kids, he continued in the experiment but their marriage hit another rocky patch when he told his wife, 'I don't think I'll be able to love your kid as much as my own children.'
Savage.

Awhina and Adrian surprisingly continued in the experiment though. It was all very bizarre but after tears, tantrums about being excluded in the promo for the show and their friends and family having a full-on argument, they finally called it quits during their final vows.
But in classic Adrian and Awhina style, they then decided to make a go of things... Literally minutes after saying their final vows. They eventually ended their relationship off-screen and while Awhina's moved on with Billy and Adrian is seemingly single.
Awhina and Billy aren't the only MAFS stars who have recoupled from the latest series, Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice are now engaged and Jamie Marinos and Elliot Donovan have also sparked dating rumours.
