We say this every year but the latest series of Married At First Sight Australia truly is one of the wildest seasons so far.
From Tim Gromie telling producers he doesn't have a type but then backtracking as soon as he married Katie Johnston, to Jake Luik's bizarre 'I'm not racist but...' comment during the photo ranking challenge - we've been at a loss for words watching season 12 of MAFS Australia.
God knows where the MAFS producers found the cast but it's been an interesting viewing experience to say the least. Most of the cast already knew each other before the experiment and now it's come to light that Dave Hand also dated a fellow bride before the show.

Spilling the tea on Triple M's radio show, Jamie Marinos revealed why producers never aired the fact that she had 'hooked up' with intruder groom Teejay Halkias before the show.
'There's obviously so many things that get filmed on the show that don't make it to air, most of our filming doesn't make it to the air,' she began to explain.
'I think considering Dave, myself and Teejay were able to move forward with no issues, it was the least problematic situation to arise so there wasn't really much point in including that.
'I think at that point we were like the 17th couple that knew each other. It was sort of really bad on production,' she joked.

It was at this point that she revealed that her hubby Dave already knew one of her co-stars.
'Dave may have been on a date with Sierah [Swepstone] six years ago.
'Dave had told me prior, because Sierah had been leaked [in the press as a cast member].

'I was like, "I don’t care if you’ve had sex with her upon entry, like I’m cool" and then Sierah came up to me immediately at the first cocktail party and told me, but it was just so funny because it’s like how small is the MAFS world?'
And according to Jamie, MAFS producers don't ask contestants for a list of their exes beforehand which means that all their connections are in fact a total coincidence.
