After about 0.2 seconds of watching Married At First Sight Australia it quickly became clear to us that Eliot Donovan would be an interesting character on the latest series.
After telling the rest of the MAFS Australia grooms that he'd quit the experiment if he didn't instantly feel a spark with his wife, we knew he wouldn't hold back with his opinions and we were right.
Surprisingly though, the biggest hiccup in Eliot and Lauren Hall's wedding was her sister getting drunk and flirting with the best man.
LOL.
Fast forward 24 hours and Eliot was kicking up a fuss (to producers, ofc) about how Lauren had some traits from his non-negotiable list and before you knew it, he quit the experiment and left their honeymoon.

Why did Eliot Donovan quit the experiment?
Just days after getting married, Eliot quit the experiment. He didn't hold back and told producers, 'I would love the experts to sit down and explain why they put two people together that had non negotiables that don't line up.
'Why would they do that? I gave [the experiment] the shot that I said I would based on the match. It's done.'

Yeah, we said it twice but major spoiler alert - Eliot does return to the experiment but with a new bride. Posting a photo alongside his new wife, Eliot wrote, 'Starting over 👰🏻♀️🤵🏻💒 #MAFS.'
