We love when their time on MAFS is over and the cast start spilling the tea on rule breaks, unaired scenes and which of their co-stars they actually like - or hate, as so often is the case. The latest Married At First Sight UK bride to lift the lid on some naughty behaviour is Emma Barnes and we are just as shocked as you will soon be. Sure, Emma seems like one of the funnest MAFS girlies ever to be seen, but we never had her down as a troublemaker...
Emma was joined by fellow MAFS co-star Kristina Goodsell as a guest at Cosmopolitan HQ where she dished the dirt on how she ended up in the Channel 4 producers' bad books.
'A real telling off,' Emma began and isn't that how all great stories start?
'On our production phone we've only go the numbers of the cast and welfare,' she explained. '
One night I was chilling in the apartment and I just went, 'Casper [Todd], there's six new names on our phone, Oh my God, what am I going to do with this information?' And then Casper just said, "ignore it", he's not a rule breaker.'
Emma was matched with Caspar and safe to say after he confessed that she reminded him of his SISTER their romance all but fizzled out.
'What do we do? Do we call them? Do we text them? What do we do?' she went on.
We have to admit we'd probably be the Emma in this situation; clearly it was the names of all the 'intruder' bride and grooms that would soon be joining them and we would be desperate to send a cheeky text.
'Emma, leave it, they're coming it doesn't matter,' she went on, explaining Casper's reaction to the gossip.
'Right, I'm going to someones else's house', I needed to tell them about it, so I ran up to Holly [Ditchfield] and Alex [Henry]'s and there's a couple of people around there having a Chinese and I run into the room and I'm like, 'I've got some news", and we end up drinking loads of rum in their apartment and Polly [Sellman] says, "lets just call them".'
'My phone was the one on the table and we all got around and we called the girls to welcome them in to say, "Look were good people, were here, with open arms, we're here to welcome you".'
We can't decide whether or not this would make us even more nervous about joining the MAFS clan or have the desired effect and make us feel welcomed.
'Amy [Kenyon] was the only one who answered and we all just went round one by one,' Emma explained before adding, 'unfortunately, the phone call was actually recorded and we all got pulled in one by one.'
'I got told, "I was supposed to be the mature one of the group," like a proper teachers chat,' she laughed and that's exactly how this feels, like they were a bunch of naughty school kids.
