So what did you get up to this weekend? Watch that Adele video, did you? Watch it like a million times, did you?
Well, several people did as she’s racked up a whopping 69 million hits for her new single, Hello, on YouTube. That’s eight times the population of London. Or the population of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, or Turkey.

Look, a lot of people spent the last 48 hours trying to lip read what her hot ex-boyfriend was saying in the video, or starting up a Change.org petition to get Apple to make the next iPhone flippable.
One person who’s probably responsible for a few of those views will be Lionel Richie, after someone set up an infinite GIF loop of them Hello-ing themselves into eternity.
The man who was famously immortalised as a clay head in his own Hello video reached out to Adele, and posted a split screen of them on the blower and he said: “HELLO @adele is it me you're looking for... □ #hello.”
Probably not, as she’s not responded to him. Maybe she’s still not got any signal yet. She did however post a picture of her winking on the cover of iD magazine, so we can expect an incoming in-depth interview pretty soon. Then it’s not long to wait before we get to hear the rest of the album, 25, when it comes out on 20 November.
During the weekend the track was number 1 in 85 countries around the world, according to downloads from iTunes. Sorry, future X Factor 2015 winner. Looks like that top spot in the Christmas charts is no longer up for grabs, as our queeen of power ballads is BACK.
