Pop star Ariana Granda has delighted fans by confirming the title of her new song due out this week. Posting cryptic messages on both Twitter and Instagram, the 24-year-old pop star confirmed the song would be called 'No Tears Left To Cry' and would be out this Friday, 20th April.

Despite previous reports a source told Variety magazine that we should expect new music from Ariana on the 27th April, it seems it has been brought forward.

In a series of tweets Ariana started by posting a blue drop emoji, '💧'.

She quickly followed this up by the words, 'missed you'.

Finally she posted, the name of her new song upside down, along with its release date, 'ʎɹɔ oʇ ʇɟǝl sɹɐǝʇ ou 4.20'.

This final tweet has left many of her fans very excited with over 200K fans liking the tweet and 27K commenting with messages such as, 'I’m so proud of u' [sic] and 'OMG'.

At the same time Ariana took to her Instagram account to post three photos confirming the name of the song, again upside down as 'No Tears Left to Cry'.

This latest activity from Ariana comes just a few days after she initially teased her new single on her socials, but quickly deleted it.

According to an Ariana fan account which posted a screengrab of her Instagram Story, Ariana posted a photo with the handwritten words 'No tears left to cry', captioned, 'None of this would be possible without my amazing team. Soon babes <3'.

Some of the pop star's fans also spotted the singer wearing a top with the same words, upside down, on a recent trip to Disneyland, posting the photo on Twitter.

Other than posting to her Instagram Story, the 'Side To Side' singer has been quiet on her social channels, with her last post on Instagram being late last year. She has however appeared on other singer's Instagram pages, including Dua Lipa's in January.

At the time Dua posted the photo of the pair on Instagram there were many rumours that the pair could be due to release a collaboration, however four months later we have yet to hear any more information.

Ariana is thought to be working on her next album, the follow-up to her 2016 album 'Dangerous Woman'. The new album is expected to include collaborations from Max Martin and Pharrell Williams amongst others and is believed to be deeply personal, inspired by the singer's experiences over the past two years, including the Manchester bombing on the 19th May 2017.

While we're waiting to hear more about Ariana's album let's take a look at some of the biggest collaborations so far from this year in our gallery below.
