Pop star Ariana Grande has recently taken to her Instagram account to show off a brand new tattoo which is inspired by an Anime character. The 'No More Tears Left To Cry' singer posted a short video showing off her new addition. Ariana Grande then posted an upside down photo to her Instagram Story of her largest tattoo yet, which is on her forearm.
Over the past few days, Ariana has shared her love for Anime with her fans, including various posts about Spirited Away‘s main character Chihiro, and a tweet from last week which said, 'pete and i just ate like the parents from spirited away'. [sic]
Since the reveal of her new tattoo fans have been quick to say how much they like her choice. One fan tweeted, '@ArianaGrande Your new tattoo takes my spirits away ❤️ #favouritefilm', whilst another said, 'you’ve made me wanna get my tattoos so so much more now 😅☁️'. [sic]
One more fan said, 'I love your tattoos so much !'
See Ariana Grande's transformation over the years:
As with many celebrities, Ariana has a number of tattoos, earlier this year she revealed a touching tattoo in memory of the Manchester Arena victims. Taking to Twitter, Ariana posted a photo of the small bee tattoo behind her left ear with the caption, 'forever ☁️' [sic].
After the tragic events of last year, Ariana took a break from music, with her first new music being released in April, 'No Tears Left To Cry'. In the music video she pays tribute to those affected by the Manchester bombing and as the video ends it features the Manchester bee flying off into the sky.
Watch Ariana's stunning tribute below:
Ariana's latest tattoo comes after her fiancé Pete Davidson has revealed the reason behind HIS first tattoo, and it's a little awkward! The comedian told Variety that he got his first tattoo when he was just 17-years-old and by-chance it was a tribute to Ariana's ex-boyfriend, Big Sean.
Luckily, it wasn't anything TOO awkward, like his face! It was just the words 'swerve life' which were tattooed onto his leg, because he really liked his song 'Mercy'.
