We usually associate Craig David with the days of getting really drunk in a barn with our friends listening to UK garage anthems and making eyes with our school crush during Fill Me In, which is about as far a cry from sitting round the fire roasting Chestnuts on a Christmas evening as you can get.
However, Craig’s latest musical offering is absolutely full to the brim with Christmas spirit and makes us want to settle in for the night with a mug of hot coco, several mince pies and a lovely wholesome Christmas film.
He’s recorded a lovely, acoustic cover of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and it’s smooth AF.

Craig also opened up about his year and revealed how he plans to spend Christmas.
“This year has been so amazing & I’m so grateful to everyone that has supported me & shown so much love for my new music & live shows,” he explained.
“I love this time of the year, especially because I can reflect on how incredible the year and those moments have been with those closest to me. Spending some quality time with my Mum & Dad is going to be so good. No doubt ‘Home Alone’ will be on rotation in the background, which was the inspiration for doing this cover as it was one of my favourites from the movie. Have a great Christmas with your loved ones and I’m excited for what the new year has in store.”
Craig’s new album The Time Is Now is dropping on 26th January.
