Dua Lipa shocked fans during her recent performance at the American Music Awards (AMAs). The Number 1 selling artist performed her singles 'One Kiss' and 'Electricity' and midway through her set she did a trust fall from some steps above the stage, being caught by her dancers.
Whilst obviously it had been practiced several times, Dua Lipa surprised fans as many took to social media to express their shock. One fan tweeted, 'I’m sad you didn’t win New Artist of the Year but your performance was amazing and that trust fall..', with another saying, 'Wow wow wow @DUALIPA went in hard for that performance!! That fall made me yelp at my tv !!!!! 💘💘💘💘💘💘'.

Sadly Dua didn't take home any awards at the AMAs, however, big winners on the night included Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello who took home four awards each. Taylor took home Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist Pop/Rock, Favourite Album Pop/Rock for 'reputation' and Tour of the Year. Meanwhile, Camila took home Favourite Song Pop/Rock and Favourite Music Video, Collaboration of the Year, all for for 'Havana', and New Artist of the Year.

The second song Dua performed at the AMAs was her current single, 'Electricity', which is another collaboration, with producers Mark Ronson and Diplo, known collectively as Silk City. In what has been a totally unstoppable year for Dua, 'Electricity' was another hugely successful song, with over 10 million views!
Dua took to Twitter to celebrate this latest achievement, having previously celebrated the 1 million mark, the day it was released. She tweeted four stills from the video saying, '10 MILLION VIEWS ON ELECTRICITY!! CRAZY LOVE FOR YOU GUYS ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️'.
The music video features Dua dancing around an empty, dark apartment, wearing a white top and red hot pants. As more and more friends arrive an impromptu party gets started! At the time of writing, the video has now had over 34 million views!
