We've been waiting for what seems like AGES, but finally the new song from Dua Lipa, a collaboration with Mark Ronson and Diplo - known collectively as Silk City - has dropped! And what a tune it is.
Dua first teased her new single back at the beginning of August with a tweet of a close-up photo of herself with blonde hair, and long silver and black nails saying, 'Her name is Electricity... and you’ll meet her soon enough ⚡️'.
Continuing to tease the collaboration, Mark Ronson then retweeted Dua saying, 'COMING REAL SOON x'. Followed a few weeks later, by Dua teasing her fans again with the release date saying, '⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️10 DAYS ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️'.
Now, we finally get a chance to hear the new single and it's fantastic! As well as dropping the single, they have also released the music video on YouTube, which features Dua dancing around an empty, dark apartment, wearing a white top and red hot pants.
As the video progresses more and more friends arrive for an impromptu party. The video ends with collaborators, Mark Ronson and Diplo.
It's only been a few hours since the video dropped, but fans are already loving it, leaving comments such as, 'OMG !!!!!!!! Yaaaas I'm dying now 💙💙💣🔥love you', '⚡💙DUA LIPA💙⚡' and 'Music is life !!'.
