It's that time of year again, the Eurovision Song Contest is just around the corner, and now the UK's entry has officially been chosen.
SuRie, who is a graduate from the Royal Academy of Music, won the public vote during last night's live **Eurovision: You Decide **show on BBC2.
After impressing judges Rylan Clark-Neal, Rochelle Humes and Tom Fletcher, SuRie won the public vote over the other five hopefuls with her single 'Storm'.
**Watch her performance below: **
SuRie, real name Susanna Cork, will travel to Lisbon where the final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place on Saturday 12th May.
This won't be the first time SuRie has performed on the Eurovision stage. The singer previously appeared once as a backing dancer for Belgium's Loic Nottett in 2015, and again in 2017 as a musical director.
As well as fans of Eurovision, the judges from last night's show were quick to congratulate SuRie. McFly star Tom Fletcher shared a selfie with the singer and wrote, 'Congrats to @surieofficial, who will be representing us in Lisbon'. [sic]
Rylan then tweeted, 'Well done UK you got this one right #EurovisionYouDecide @bbceurovision' [sic]

After a number of disappointing years in Eurovision, the UK finished in 15th place last year, the best position we've had since 2011.
Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones represented the UK, singing her hit 'Never Give Up On You'.
It was Portugal's Salvador Sobral who won the contest, picking up an impressive 758 points after performing his track 'Amar Pelos Dois'.
Taking place in Lisbon, this year's Eurovision Song Contest is on Saturday 12th May.
