What a year it has been in the world of music! The likes of Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Sam Smith and P!nk all made music comebacks, releasing some of the biggest hits of the year including 'Shape Of You', 'What About Us', Lonely Together' and 'Too Good At Goodbyes'.

The One Direction boys all released solo material, with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson showing off their own genre of music.

Adele completed her mammoth tour but told fans she may never tour again in a handwritten note to her fans.

Lady Gaga performed at the annual Super Bowl half time show, Little Mix released a platinum edition of their album 'The Glory Days' and Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé teamed up for a 'Perfect' duet.
