Katy Perry has delayed the start of her ‘Witness’ World Tour, citing ‘unavoidable production delays’.

Katy’s ‘Witness’ tour was due to kick off in Ohio, America on 7th September, but now won’t begin till the 19th September date in Montreal.

Taking to Instagram to break the news Katy wrote ‘Some good and some bad news but I promise we’re gonna be' before sharing a note that read ‘THE GOOD NEWS. Noah Cyrus, Purity Ring and Carly Rae Jepsen will be joining me on #WITNESSTHETOUR North America dates.’

Before continuing: ‘THE BAD NEWS. Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week. I’ll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait.’

Next week, Katy is due to present the MTV VMAs in Los. Angeles. This week rumours have circulated that Katy is going to perform with Taylor Swift at the award’s ceremony. Yes really! The pop princesses are apparently set to put their bad blood behind them and perform together.
