Bloody hell, so much potential Katy Perry and Taylor Swift goss right now. After TayTay made her triumphant return to social media with that cryptic snake clip, Katy's now addressed those rumours the pair could be joining forces to perform at next week's MTV VMAs.

Despite the fact, y'know, there's been loads of bad blood between 'em.

It's obviously too much to go into, but following their epic fall-out it was recently reported Katy and Taylor could be burying the hatchet to perform together at the big awards bash; something Katy's now denied. But do we believe her?

Speaking on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up show, Katy confirmed: "Listen, I'd love for the beef to end. I'd love to take it off the barbecue.

"I'm down, but I haven't heard anything of it."

Okay, so she wouldn't be totally opposed. We're one step closer, guys. What with this and the whisperings Taylor could appear in Katy's Swish Swish video as Bad Blood alter ego Catastrophe, who knows what they're up to?

Oh, and in case you're wondering everyone reckons Taylor's latest social media post is a teaser for hew new single, which apparently could be called Timeless and might just be out this Friday (August 25th).

OOH.
