Life hasn't been quite the same since One Direction announced their hiatus-not-split back in 2015, has it? Don't get us wrong, we love bopping to Bedroom Floor and shimmying around the office to Slow Hands; but there's something about the four of 'em together that turns us into straight-up flailing fangirls.

And if you're as much a Directioner as us, we've got some great news. Liam's Payne's only gone and teased a potential 1D reunion and admitted he, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have already planned their 'dream' comeback.

Speaking to a German publication, Liam said: "We've all spoken about it, the dream for this most fantastic show.

"I think it will happen at some point."

Er, excuse us while we spontaneously SOB along to Night Changes.

Fans are obviously loving the news, with #OneDirectionreunion trending on Twitter almost immediately. One fan said 'MY HEART IS BEING FIXED OMG I WANT MY BOYS BACK ALREADY #OneDirectionReunion,' with another tweeting 'I was there before the break , I am here after the break , and I’ll be there when they come back #OneDirectionReunion.'

Liam recently announced his new single - a collaboration with J Balvin - is called Familiar and will be released on April 20th. Revealing the artwork on Instagram, he said: "This is it! My next single #Familiar, featuring my boy @jbalvin is out this Friday! Go pre-save it on @Spotify for a chance to be the FIRST person to hear it!"

Can't wait, mate.
