The nominees for this year's Q Awards have now been announced. Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are both up for Best Solo Artist, and Ed has also earned a nod for Q's Best Artist In The World Today.
Elsewhere Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk and Foals' track What Went Down are nominated for Best Track. The ceremony, which is due to be hosted by Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell for a second year running will take place on 19 October.
Other awards presented on the night will include* Q* Innovation in Sound presented by Sony Xperia, and as part of the 100th-anniversary celebrations of the birth of Les Paul, the Gibson Les Paul Award.
