Things haven’t quite been the same without Flack and Murs in our lives every Saturday night for Xtra Factor. Remember how she used to call him 'Ols' and shout ‘You fell ovah! You fell ovah!’ while repeatedly showing clips of him skidding down the stairs at Guilfest in 2012? And how, whenever he said he’d been doing a lot of 'thinking' she said, ‘What have I told you about thinking? It gives you the twitchy eye!’ And basically just all the times we pretended they were girlfriend and boyfriend because we really wanted them to get married…?

Well now those dreams can be realised once more. Magic FM have just announced a special Christmassy line up of presenters for the festive period and Caroline and Olly will take to the airwaves in their joint radio debut on Christmas morning from 10am-12pm on Thursday 25th December. Olly says, “If you’re not in your Christmas jumpers we’ll be disappointed!” The dynamic duo will then be back in our ears again on Wednesday 31st December from 6pm- 8pm as they get us in the mood to kick off New Year’s Eve with loads of sing-along favourites. If that wasn’t enough to make our drums burst with excitement, the mighty Take That will also be testing out their hosting skills on Sunday 30th November between 1pm – 3pm ahead of ‘That Take Day’ on Monday 1st December. Listeners will be given the chance to get their hands on copies of their new album ‘III’ along with tickets to see them at the O2 next year.

Throughout December, Magic Radio’s ‘Behind the Music’ slot, which broadcasts every Sunday from 6-8pm, will feature special spotlight shows and interviews with Boyzone who discuss new album ‘Dublin to Detroit’ as well as Mr Hotness himself Mr Idris Elba who gives the low down on his album ‘mi Mandela’.

Magic will become a national radio station from the 5th of January, for details of how to listen go to www.magic.co.uk.
