Yep. She's defending the same guy that beat up Rihanna.

Rita Ora has defended Chris Brown's violent past, after teaming up with him to work on a new track.

Chris was convicted of beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in 2009, which left her face bloody, swollen and badly bruised.

Rita told The Sun: “Chris Brown is strong, powerful and someone that is important to me personally and professionally.

“The discrimination and all what people think? If you have a great song then no one cares.

“I love him on different levels. I see how he treats his people and he’s a good person with a good heart and a lovely family.

“It’s really nice that we finally got together because, regardless of what’s happened, the song is just amazing.”

Yikes. Sadly, it is partly true. Chris Brown still makes music that people like, which somehow means they don't care about the fact he beat up Rihanna. However, not everyone has forgiven him so easily, so he probably wasn't the best choice by Rita.

Fingers crossed, that one day we can all agree to stop letting Chris Brown be famous. Let's all just turn our backs and if we ignore him for long enough, maybe he'll go away.
