Taylor Swift shares an inspirational message from her teenage diary at her ‘Lover’ album launch

It's the day that Taylor Swift's fans around the world have been waiting for, the day that 'Lover' the pop star's latest album drops. Overnight, the pop star held an intimate Q&A session in New York, with some very excited fans, and opened up about all sorts of things, even reading some of her teenage diary entries.

Entering the small studio attached to her pop up shop in New York, Taylor told her fans that she was so excited to be surrounded by fans as her album is released, telling them it was her "dream", explaining it's, "So rare to get to experience the evening of an album release with you guys".

She then told her fans, "There's so much to talk about!"

The 'ME!' singer opened up about her previous album 'reputation' comparing it to her new release, saying 'reputation' was, "City-scape, nighttime, darkness..."

Taylor went on to explain that she felt 'Lover' was very different, "Very daytime, very sunlit feel," looking around her she continued, "I mean we have clusters of pink balloons!"

Taylor opened up about the number 13, which she says is her lucky number. This year is the 13th year of her career, so she decided to read some of her diary entries from when she was 13.

Each of her deluxe albums include 30 pages from her diaries and she shared some with the fans. The first excerpt ends with Taylor saying, "I don't care what people think of me now, because won't let them bring me down." Which resulted in a a big cheer from the Swifties.

This year, Taylor has also released 'ME!', a collaboration with Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco. 'ME1' was her first music since ‘Delicate’ in 2018, which featured on her album ‘reputation’.
