Over the past couple of weeks there has been much excitement as pop star Taylor Swift has been teasing something happening on the 26th April. Without giving away exactly what was going to happen the ‘reputation’ singer posted numerous photos on social media including pastel shades and sequins.

Today, in the early hours of the morning, Taylor Swift dropped her brand new single 'ME!', featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco.

The new music from Taylor is the first since she released ‘Delicate’ in 2018, which featured on her album ‘reputation’. And in stark contrast to the red and black colours from her ‘reputation’ album and tour, ‘ME!’ takes a lighter turn, with pastel shades.

Now, not only has Taylor delighted fans with the new song called 'ME!', she has also dropped the accompanying music video, and you will want to watch it. The music video starts off with Taylor's iconic snake as it moves over pastel coloured cobbles, before turning into lots of pastel butterflies.

The camera then follows a butterfly as it flies into the room where Taylor is having a fight in French with Brendon Urie, before slamming the door and starting to sing.

The video has only been on YouTube for a few hours, but is already trending and has more than 16 million views! Fans have been quick to leave comments on the video, which is a big departure from her much darker 'reputation' songs. One fan said, 'Fireeee🔥🔥💯💯', with another saying, 'Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie, that's the anthem I needed 🦄💕🦄 ME!'.
