Christmas is most definitely coming, with less than two weeks to go, so it's about time we got the Christmas tunes on!

Thanks to the latest research we can reveal the Top 20 Christmas songs of all time and you're bound to find a few of your favourites in the list, from Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' and The Pogues', 'Fairytale of New York', to Chris Rea's 'Driving Home For Christmas' and East 17's 'Stay Another Day'. We love them all!

Here is the full run down of the Top 20:

  1. 'Stop The Cavalry' – Jona Lewie
  1. 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over)' - John and Yoko and The Plastic Ono Band with the Harlem Community Choir
  1. 'Wonderful Christmastime' – Paul McCartney
  1. 'Mistletoe and Wine' – Cliff Richard
  1. 'Baby Its Cold Outside' – Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews

Originally sung for the film Neptune's Daughter this song has been covered numerous times, including a 2014 cover by Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé and Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett in 2015, but it is this version, by Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews, that makes the Top 20.

  1. 'When A Child Is Born' – Johnny Mathis
  1. 'Stay Another Day' – East 17
  1. 'Blue Christmas' – Elvis
  1. 'Lonely This Christmas' – Elvis Presley

This is a song that anyone who has to do the long journey back to family will be able to relate to.
