And, hey, Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger have managed to put together two bloody brilliant bands in Unwritten Rule and Real Like You.

Yep - before the boy and girl groups battled it out to be crowned series champs we caught up with Unwritten Rule lads Boaz Dopemu, Caius Duncombe, Fred Roberts, Harrison Cole, Jed Thomas and Reece Wiltshire-Fessey to find out the properly juicy stuff they don't tell you.

Fred Roberts

Fred is 17 years old from Chorleywood, he grew up around music with his Mum being a piano tutor and involved in musical theatre. Fred has been singing for three years and took part in school plays and choirs growing up.3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FRED:**"**I play the piano and have my grade 7 qualification.""I can fit 25 marshmallows in my mouth at once.""The arena audition in Birmingham was the first gig of my life."

Reece Wiltshire-Fessey

Reece is 19 years old from Wales. He works in digital marketing but feels like music is his real purpose in life, he built up a following on Musical.ly (now TikTok) and used to live stream every day after sixth form.3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT REECE:"I can't click my fingers.""Sweets are my favourite food.""I can play three musical instruments: drums, guitar and piano."

Boaz Dopemu

Boaz is 19 years old from Surrey. He is currently studying Electronics and Communications at the University of Kent. Aged 9 he was cast as Young Simba in the West End production of 'The Lion King' and has loved performing on stage ever since. 3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BOAZ:"I've been singing since the age of 8, and aged 9 I played Young Simba in the West End production of 'The Lion King.'""I'm quite good at impressions, I did an impression of Kendrick Lamar the other week in rehearsals which Naughty Boy loved.""My favourite football team is Arsenal."

Caius Duncombe

Caius is 19 years old from London. He currently studies at Urdang and says his first love is singing but he is also trained in acting and dancing. He was cast as Fletcher in 'The Bodyguard' in the West End production and is also heavily influenced by the London rap scene. 3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CAIUS:"I'm trained in musical theatre.""I have five sisters.""I played Fletcher in 'The Bodyguard' in the West End production."

Jed Thomas

Jed is 16 years old from Meriden. Since the age of 11 he has enjoyed singing and performed in school productions. He is self-taught and loves writing his own songs, he is now studying at BIMM and loves being around other people who share the same passion.3 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT JED:"I play a lot of instruments, I've played piano for seven years and guitar for nine.""I love playing football in my spare time and I'm a massive Aston Villa fan.""I am a bit Donny Hathaway fan."

Harrison Cole

Harrison is 19 years old from Surrey. Harrison has played the drums since he was 10 years old and has recently started writing and producing his own tracks.
