EastEnders without Danny Dyer is like Ant without Dec, Dot Cotton without her menthol fags and heat without all the sarcasm and PEEN. We're not going to lie, we've bloody missed our favourite waistcoat-wearing-cuddly-landlord.
Earlier this year, Danny Dyer (aka Mick Carter) was given some time out from his hectic filming schedule by BBC bosses to deal with 'personal issues'. But now we can assure you that Danny will apparently be back on our screens in roughly TWO WEEKS.
May 19th to be exact.
The Sun reports that Danny was first spotted back on set in March, and as the episodes are filmed six weeks in advance, mid May should mark Danny's return to our screens.
And apparently, Danny's comeback scenes will involve him returning to his beloved Queen Vic to find Lee From Blue in charge (lol sorry, bar manager Woody) and he is naaaaaaht happy.
Mick will probably have something to say about the Queen Vic's roof falling in, Lady Di's brush with death and his mum Shirley selling the buildings leasehold to Max Branning.
We can’t bloody wait, you’ve definitely been missed Double D!
